Prayers are being answered left and right!

Good news friends : Gavin’s blood work came back a-ok (only a slight bit off in some areas but the doctors are not concerned)!!!! He has also gained weight and grew!!!!!! God has been answering our prayers, he is so good! Between Audrina’s great cardiology visit and this new news we have a lot to celebrate and be thankful for!

Tomorrow we head to Cape Coral for my niece, Princess Tatiana Marie’s, big pre-k graduation!!!! Really is she going to be starting kindergarten in the fall, where did the time go!

The Nye house has been super busy! We got a new addition Miss Smokey Nye. This is Eric’s dad’s dog, she couldn’t live in the house in NC anymore so now she has retired to Florida. She is 16 and super sweet-the vet says she will live another 3-4 years!!!! Audrina and Smokey have become buddies, I was worried about this because I don’t think Smoke has been around a lot of kids. Smokey has the same demeanor as her dad, so maybe since Audrina will never meet her Grandpa John (here on Earth) she at least gets to know his beloved dog.

Audrina has been teething, she is getting her 4 upper incisors all at once! She continues to amaze us with what she does and knows-she said God 3 times the other day when I read Noah’s Ark to her and pointed to Noah when she said it! She says dada now, too!

We had our first weekend getaway together, just Audrina and I, we went to Crystal River. We had such a beautiful time with Poppy, Grandma Bonnie, and Aunt Mary Beth. I have been dying to try Stand Up Paddle Boarding. I was doing a swimming and kettlebell work out when my dad remembered there was a kite surfing board there. We turned it into a SUP and away I went! I even woke early before church on Sunday to do it again. I definitely loved it and need to get a SUP soon!. Audrina took her first boat ride to Poppy’s island, on the way there she nursed the whole time, but on the way back she just chilled and seemed very happy-she is my Florida sunshine girl!

 

 

Off to go let a cat out, feed a dog, cook dinner and check on a baby-my house has become a three ring circus with the newest addition- crazy but that’s the way I love it!

 

PS I am going to be helping to get Pulse-ox testing mandated on newborns in the state of FL. This is a non-invasive test that needs to be conducted on every baby born! It can help determine if the baby has a CHD. It will save lives, I still cringe thinking if the doctor did not pick up on her murmur or if she was born in the birthing center what could have happened. Please like our page on FB:
