Wow where did that month go????!!!!

Really-wasn’t I just writing about Audrina turning 10 months old??!!!! Now little miss will be 11 months on the 3rd. I’m writing this now as I will be away from the internet this weekend. I truly can’t believe that this time last year I was finishing up with work and getting ready to start my maternity leave. I took off 2 weeks before her due date. I was working as a dental sales rep and didn’t want to be far from home when labor started. I was convinced she would be a little early or at least on time-that was the first surprise! She made us wait an extra 8 days past my due date to meet her! She has always been a source of great anticipation. And true to her personality we are once again anticipating the big day she will take her first step. I was sure it would be by 11 months. The kid can crawl up and down any high surface, moves faster than lighting, stands (supporting something) all the time and walks holding our hands. Maybe on her 12 month update I can announce that, but until than we wait-cameras never too far from reach!
   

1. You love to blow kisses and you know to do so when you are saying “Bye”, but you blow the back of your palm and mmmmuah! So cute!
   
2. You can say Kyla and Bad dog. Your really good at mimicking sounds such as singing the ABC’s.
   
3. You eat what we eat, dislike mushy baby food and still nurse (but not nearly as often as you used too).
   
4. You have begun playing with baby dolls, you are very motherly and know how to feed the baby.
   
5. You love being busy and are very good at entertaining yourself. You read the books and don’t tear up all the pages. You like to color, too.
   
6. You weigh 17 pounds and are a little OVER 30 inches (that’s 75th-90th percentile for height!) So you may not be growing much in weight but you are growing TALL!!!! And I just checked the Kellymom sight breastfed babies generally are 2 1/2 to 3times their birth weight at 1 year-so you are right on track for that.
   
7. You love kids and have made some new friends. Your closest friend is Sophie she is a couple weeks younger than you. She also spent her first month at ACH as she was a preemie. We have so much fun with her and her mom!
   
8. We do music classes most Wednesdays you do a great job singing, playing instruments and dancing.
   
9. Your still a cuddly sweet girl, you give the best bear hugs and big sloppy kisses!!!

It’s so fun to see your personality come out, your goofy and sweet! We always say that we are so happy you are a part of our lives, it was like life began when you entered our worlds!
